Drink just the wines you truly enjoy. Restaurants, bars, and stores may promote certain brands of wine, especially ones that are related to celebrities. But these wines are priced way above cost. More expensive wines do not necessarily taste better. Figure out what you enjoy and stick to it.
A number of wines go quite well with desserts. Dessert wines are generally sweeter than those served with the main meals. Ports provide sweet flavors that work well with chocolate and other dessert items. Keep them at 55 degrees to get the optimal flavor.
You can drink wine by itself or you can cook with it. You haven’t had great steak until you’ve tried it with red wine cooked into it. White wine is great with any type of seafood dishes. Adding a splash of wine while you cook can boost the flavor of your dish.

Chilled white wine tastes the best. Room temperature can ruin the taste of white wine. A full bottle will take around two hours to chill in the fridge. If you are in a rush, surround it with ice in a bucket and it will be ready to drink in about a half hour.
